For this painting I wanted to recreate the colorful setting in the original photo for Marina’s promotional photo for her album “Froot”. Apart from using vibrant colors, I decided to use gold leaf and iridescent pigments on the background.

I really like this picture of Frank Ocean for his album Blond, so I decided to paint it.

My first ever portrait done in oil paint. This is by far the piece that has taken me the longest, 2 years. I learned so much along the process and it made me appreciate the medium even more.

Final assignment for my figure painting class. We could technically paint ourselves how ever we wanted, so I went with an idolized version of myself; big eyes, long straight hair, flawless skin , no visible double chin and neatly dressed.
